Faculty
The Dance Studio boasts very talented faculty with a wide range of dance experience. THE DANCE STUDIO OF IOWA'S dance program is nationally known for its teaching of proper dance technique from the earliest ages through the most advanced classes, formulated by Director of Dance, Marcia Taylor, who earned her Degree in Dance from the Conservatory of Music and Dance at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, and has been principal instructor at the Kansas City Magnet School of Performing Arts, as well as a member of the dance faculty of three universities. <a href="/faculty-bios/">[more]</a>
Christian Dance Company
Our winter dance concert is the "Annual Dance Before the Lord Performance", an ecumenical, non-denominational celebration of the human spirit through dance and music. Students will also have the opportunity to audition for the Christian Dance Company, which will perform at local churches and community events.
